From 2005 to 2012, Pavone toured regularly with Anthony Braxton’s Sextet and 12+1tet, and she appears on his discography from that time.

Brian Chase is the drummer for Grammy-nominated rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs and NYC’s experimental music community. In 2018, Chase started the independent record label Chaikin Records which spotlights cutting edge music from the NYC music and arts scene. Chases own releases on the label included duo albums with pianist Anthony Coleman, harpist Zeena Parkins and saxophonist Catherine Sikora; the inaugural release on the label was a music and book set of Chase’s solo project, Drums and Drones, described in The Wire as “luscious laboratory experiments in listening to stretched skins, wooden vessels and metallic surfaces.” Some of Chase’s essays and writings have appeared in John Zorn’s Arcana series, Modern Drummer magazine, and culture blog Talkhouse.

Brandon Lopez is a Puerto Rican/American musician based in NYC. His work has been praised and “brutal” and “relentless” by the NYTimes and other publications of note. He has been a soloist with the NY philharmonic and has played numerous basements across Europe and North America.
