Looking for an outlet to liberate their inner pop/rock child, Kyoko Kitamura and Yayoi Ikawa,  known primarily for their tough core improvisation, formed Go-zee-lah in the summer of 2009 after touring Costa Rica together. With the support of Harris Eisenstadt, Go-zee-lah will perform all original tunes influenced by J-pop (Japanese pop) and J-rock but adding their musical complexity for an explosive mix.

Second Set

Mike McGinnis reunites the personnel from his first release “Tangents” (RKM Music 2001) for a set of new and old music played by a group with magical chemistry that has been brewing for 15 years.

The Group performs music from their recently recorded CD “The Crossing”. Kono uses live looping computer technology to create layered woodwind orchestral structures out of which the compositions grow, marrying improvisation with composition and chance. www.benkono.com
