Performance Policy and Fees for Ibeam Music

As of January 2010

Ibeam welcomes proposals of all types of music with a focus on improvisers, composers, classical, world,  jazz and experimental music.  We encourage you to present music that pushes boundaries.  You may send proposals by email only.  All proposals are subject to approval by the Ibeam staff.

Fees

• Only “suggested donations” from guests are accepted at the door. 
• Ibeam recommends a $10 minimum per guest.
• Artists receive 100% of the money collected at the door

Production

• Artists will be listed on all of our promotional materials including the website calendar, home page and monthly press release.
• Ibeam staff will open and close the space, collect donations from guests at the door, sell merchandise for the artist.
• Ibeam must approve any special production requests such as video or audio recording.
• Evening concerts may not start any earlier than 8:30 pm. You will be given access to Ibeam one hour prior to your start time.

Gear

• You may request the piano is tuned prior to your concert.  Cost is $110.
• Piano fee is waived if you decide to have the piano tuned.
• No prepared piano without review by our staff.
• No hands on the bass strings and general cleanliness is appreciated, especially where any extended techniques are concerned.

Food and Alchohol

• There is no food or alcohol allowed in Ibeam. 
• Ibeam provides water at no charge. 

Curatorial

• Ibeam reserves the right to approve all concerts at Ibeam.
