Perform

To submit a proposal, please familiarize yourself with the categories below before filling out our request form.  We welcome proposals from improvisers, composers, classical ensembles, world, jazz and experimental music.  We do not accept physical submissions.  Please note that due to a high volume of proposals we usually program a minimum of two months ahead.   All proposals are subject to approval by the Ibeam staff.

Concerts
Ibeam is available on a case by case basis for concerts.  We provide staff to open and close the space, collect donations from guests at the door, and sell merchandise.  Artists who are not initially invited to perform in our regular series can use this as an opportunity to introduce their work to the Ibeam community.

Performance Series
Curated by our Ibeam staff and guests, this series focuses on improvised and experimental music that suits the intimate setting at Ibeam.  The artist run DIY nature of this series, gives the artist control over most aspects of production.  Each artist accepted to perform, will be required to attend an information session to become acquainted with the space and their responsibilities as presenters.

Educational Workshops and Recitals
Ibeam welcomes music teachers and students to host a workshop or hold student recitals.  We will provide staff to assist with general production needs to ensure that your event runs smoothly.

~Our space is fragile~
In order to maintain a working environment for all artists and presenters, Ibeam has a maximum capacity of 40 people.  For concerts that we anticipate will draw 40 people or more, we will make reservations available through our website.  We never want to turn people away, but we simply cannot accommodate more than 40 people.
