Ibeam offers private and group lessons for all students of all ages. Conveniently located in Gowanus just near Park Slope, Brooklyn we offer lessons in Piano, Theory, Composition, Trombone and Improvisation. We are happy to offer a state of the art studio including a Schimmel Concert Grand Piano. We also offer opportunities for students to perform and share their work in a creative and positive environment.
For more information about private lessons and ensembles please contact us attn: lessons or call Brian Drye at 646-456-6532.
The Ibeam Ensemble Program is open to all instrumentalists who have been studying privately for at least one year. In a group format students will study theory, improvisation, composition and ensemble playing in a creative nurturing environment. Students will be placed according to level and experience. We believe that performance is an essential element to developing musicianship and understanding the dynamics of group interaction. Students will have several opportunities to perform and record the music they create. Most importantly the ensemble classes are fun and the work is primarily student driven, putting the students in the driver’s seat, initiating creative decisions.
